The best way to solve its problem is to have none of it. Well that is what the chief of a Russian think tank thinks.
If he is to be believed – the best option for a secure and peaceful Russia is to have a world without USA. Past of the solution suggested by him is to trigger a nuclear bomb to go off at Yellowstone National Park and thus set off a super volcano that destroys many countries in the world but ensures that USA cease to exist on planet earth.
“Geologists believe that the Yellowstone super volcano could explode at any moment. There are signs of growing activity there…. Sivkov, who is the head of the Academy of Geopolitical Problems, Moscow writes.
According to him the consequences of this would be catastrophic for United States – the country would ‘disappear.’
Konstantin Sivkov’s suggestion was published as an article in the Russian VPK News.
While the rest of the world might suffer a “catastrophe,” there might be little or no impact on Russia because of “distance from the eruption site and location.”
This might be the only alternative to prevent all thought of aggression against Russia by USA and its allies who were already moving close “to the borders of Russia”.
Alternatively Sivkov who describes himself as a geopolitical analyst suggests that a nuclear explosion at the San Andreas – 1,300 kilometers between the Pacific and North American fault could set off a huge earthquake that could decimate America. This could set off a mile deep tsunami that would swamp areas nearly 1,000 miles inland which can completely destroy United States.
Sivkov seems to seriously believe that NATO – a political and military alliance comprising U.S., UK, Canada and other western European countries is amassing strength against Russia and the only way to counter the problem is to attack America’s vulnerabilities and ‘completely destroy the enemy.’
The ultimate goal of USA is to “destroy Russia” and thus Russia simply cannot ignore NATO and its allies, Sivkov suggests.
